GREENWAVE SCHOLARSHIP 

SUSAN G. KOMEN COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP - This is a $10,000 per year scholarship open to students who have lost a parent or guardian to breast cancer or to a student who may be fighting breast cancer currently.  The scholarship must be used to pursue a four year degree and cannot be used at a private college or university.  The winner will be selected based on scholastic achievement, community service, financial need, and demonstrated leadership potential.  The winners of the scholarship become Komen Ambassadors and must volunteer for breast cancer awareness activities for at least 20 hours per semester.  More information is available on the rack in Guidance.  Applications and all supplemental materials requested must be submitted online at:                       www.komen.org/scholarship.
